Celebrations

August is a great month in our families. Half the relatives are having birthdays and wedding anniversaries this month, and luckily for us, some of them came to Spain to celebrate!

First up this month was a little pre-birthday celebration for Eloise:)

Next was Gramma Ree's 92nd birthday (celebrated in Lake Oswego, Oregon, not Spain)!

Then Clive celebrated a major milestone birthday in an usual way while visiting San Francisco - spent the morning on Alcatraz and the evening in a chinese restaurant which served its food on plastic plates for £7 a head and is apparently frequented by Jaime Oliver whenever he is in town!

Dominique celebrated her 23rd birthday in Seattle with a girls night on the town...

Then Dawn's parents celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary (on Maui - no, we couldn't make it there either.....).

Dawn celebrated a.....umm...."major milestone birthday", with Uncle Dick and Aunt Gitte in Marbella...(Clive and I are nearly birthday TWINS!)

A wild boat trip on a catamaran was the pre-birthday / wedding anniversary celebration for Dick & Gitte....

And finally, a night of dinner and dancing to celebrate Dick & Gitte's 30th wedding anniversary

WHEW! All this celebrating has been exhausting. Guess we'll have to go lie by the pool for a few days and recover.
